Logo design, as well as many of these other design services, are offered as a part of our branding packages. See the Branding FAQ for more information.

Why do I need a graphic designer?

Visuals are the most important part of any business strategy. More than just having images, however, you need visuals that are high-quality, memorable, and communicative to your audience.

Design theory involves a large, complex set of rules that teach designers how to do just that. A professional graphic designer’s job is to create digital art that supports your business and its goals, so you can be confident that the graphic design you receive will accomplish what you set out to do.

Yes, you can just create graphics yourself. Anyone can. But in the end, the time and effort it takes you to create something of the same quality will cost much more than hiring a professional.

How much do graphic design services cost?

Several of our design services are priced at a flat rate individually, but the overall cost will depend on what you are looking for. The more complicated of a project, the higher the cost.

We also offer graphic design bundles in the form of branding packages. You can learn more about these packages on the Branding FAQ page.

How does the graphic design process work?

After you have spoken to our representatives about what you’re looking for and a price has been agreed upon, you will be assigned a graphic designer. First, we like to do a “discovery phase”, where we learn more information about you, your business, and your goals with the design project.

Afterward, we will complete a round of design concepts for you to choose from. From there, we revise your chosen concept several times until it is just right.

What is the difference between design concepts and design revisions?

A design concept is an overall direction for the project. When a round of concepts is presented, they will be drastically different from one another to showcase a range of opportunities.

In contrast, a design revision is a change applied to one of these concepts. They are smaller tweaks made to colors, shapes, text, etc that change how the design appears, but do not effect the overall idea for that project.

How many changes can I have done to my graphic design?

Most graphic designs include three revisions, but the number of revisions allowed on your project will vary based on its demands and its deadline. Additional revisions may be added (as long as the timeline allows), but may be subject to additional fees.

How can I check on the progress of my job during the design process?

Your designer will be available at every point throughout your project’s lifespan. Since we use a review-driven design process, you will be notified every time that something is changed with your design. Chances are that we are so communicative you won’t ever need to worry about the progress of your project!

What if I change my mind in the middle of a job?

Hey, it happens- and we understand!

In most cases, starting over- or even picking back up at an earlier point in the process- will require us to charge the hourly design rate for the time it takes us to get back on track. Once we get back to the point where your mind was changed, we are able to continue the project under your initial agreement.

I don’t know specifically what I need or where to start. Can you help me?

Of course! Our account representatives are here to discuss your business goals and suggest design projects that will support them.

What software do you use for graphic design?

We design using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for graphics. Depending on the project, our designers may use all, one, or any combination of these softwares to get the look and feel you desire.

How will I receive my design project once it is finished?

No matter what, we will give you all the appropriate files for the job and its intended use. Most graphic projects come in the form of a large .jpeg or .png file, unless otherwise agreed upon.

Do I get a vector file for my logo once created?

Yes! All logo designs are delivered as fully scalable vector files.

Is the artwork my property once paid for?

We issue usage licenses for all graphic designs we create, so the artwork will be yours to use for its intended purpose. If you decide to use our design for something else in the future, we can issue you a license addendum to give you the rights for that as well.

Some designs, such as logos, come with a full copyright for you to use however you’d like. We are able to issue full copyrights to any design, but keep in mind that this will be an additional cost.

I have many items to produce, can we arrange for a monthly retainer fee for you to create everything for us?

Due to the high-demand of graphic design services, we are not able to offer an unlimited amount of design work under any monthly retainer fee.

If what you are looking for can’t be covered by one of our branding packages, then we can set up a monthly package for you that will cover a set number of design hours per month at a flat cost.

If you know specifically what designs you’ll need in advance, we can also offer a bundle package price that schedules individual design projects ahead of time.

What about “package deals”?

We are happy to set up package bundles, as long as design schedules provide us reasonable time to complete all of the projects.

I need something designed yesterday. Can you help me?

Of course! We do charge a rush-fee for any projects that need to be completed sooner than their usual timeline requires, but we are happy to accommodate last-minute design projects!

Do you keep my designs on file?

We will keep your designs on file for several months, but not indefinitely. If you need us to replace a design that we’ve created, just ask and we will do our best!

How can I make payments to you?

We accept payments via check, PayPal, or cash (in-person). We also have the ability to accept credit cards with advanced notice.
